On April 29, 2023, the Fresno Mousa Lerians community came together for a groundbreaking ceremony that marked a new chapter in their history. The event was a beautiful demonstration of unity and collaboration, with people from various religious denominations joining hands to celebrate this important milestone.

The site was blessed by the clergy, and a relic from the martyrs was placed in the ground to symbolize the unbreakable connection between the past and the future of the Mousa Lerians community. The attendees were addressed by several prominent speakers, including Nishan, the chairman of the Mousa Ler committee; Berj Apkarian, the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Armenia; Mark Topuzian, the President of the Ararat Cemetery Improvement Association; and Ara Karkazian, the treasurer of the Mousa Ler committee.

Each speaker emphasized the importance of preserving the community's heritage and culture and shared their vision for its continued growth and prosperity.
